Audio Atrocities™ : Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 · Capcom · Playstation 2 · 2005
After the overwhelming success of the Resident Evil games, it was only natural that Capcom would milk the series by putting out loosely-connected games set in the same universe. The "Outbreak" games are just that. These games retain much of the main RE cheese, but without all the pressure to conform to the series mythology. As such, you get games that take some liberties with the RE characters and timelines. Fortunately for us, however, they didn't really mess with the crappy acting and writing that make a Resident Evil game. There are no "Jill Sandwich" lines here, but there's still amusement to be had!

Exhibit A: You can bet my ass will be the first out the door...baby.
Actually, I think Capcom missed an opportunity here. They should have seen how successful this line was and had this character end all his sentences with a nice, sharp 'baby'! It really takes the edge off the monotone delivery, don't you think?

Exhibit B: You're here for the sample now, too, right Linda? Yeah, now let's take that and get the hell out of here.
There is no dramatic tension in this scene. It plays like an lost outtake from the Cartoon Network.

Exhibit C: ...no way! I'm not leavin' you bahind!
Little known fact - this is the scene that inspired the "I wish I knew how to quit you" from Brokeback Mountain.
