Audio Atrocities™ : Samurai Warriors · KOEI · Playstation 2 · 2004
Tradition. It binds generations of humanity together, providing a common thread by which values and moral codes are passed through the ages. Of course, it also can be a bunch of unintentional bad habits strung together. Here we will discuss the latter, and many would say lesser, form of tradition.

Samurai Warriors is definitely deep in the tradition of lazy, uninspired production. There's a Super-Anglo cast voicing Super-Asian characters with an absence of care and conviction that would shame the mentally retarded. The usual Atrocities of bad lines, bad delivery, miscast characters, absent direction, horrible attempts at natural laughter, are all present and accounted for. So much cheese was squandered on the production that the wrap party surely was a dairy-free affair.

But, don't take my word for it. See for yourself:

Exhibit A: Brother...you came!
Yes, it's here again, and it sounds wrong in this context as well. When will these companies pay a native speaker to scan the script for these kinds of problems?

Exhibit B: ...one must always respect the buddha.
This is one of the most quotable lines in any of the Atrocities on this site. It's not clear why, maybe it's the absolute straight-man delivery, but there's comedy gold in this line.

Exhibit C: How ominous!
Another crazy line that was pulled straight from the cheese factory, but delivered with such abrupt enthusiasm that it's off the top of the grins n' giggles gauge.
