Exhibit A: “...you were almost a Jill Sandwich!” Barry chuckles about Jill's brush with death, and puts it in the context of a phrase normally reserved for sexual innuendo. Of course, Jill is a slut, so she digs it and giggles about her brush with the undead. Ugh. Exhibit B: “...you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.” Another clip that proves why this game gave Last Alert a run for its money. "Master of Unlocking"? Would any native English speaker use this term in a situation like this if they weren't high, drugged, or mentally retarded? I don't think so. Exhibit C: “It's not just a poisonous snake...it's a monster!” Yikes! What terrible emPHAsis and timing in what's supposed to be a dramatic scene. Oh, who are we kidding? The whole GAME'S supposed to be dramatic, and this is just an example of the low-wattage actor-wannabes used in this game. The Rest: Haven't had enough? Here's some additional clips for your amusement: Clip 4, Clip 5, Clip 6, Clip 7, Clip 8, Clip 9, Clip 10 “...you were almost a Jill Sandwich!” |
